KOMORI COMMITTED TO 40 & 44 INCH PRESSES At a small media briefing
and tour, Komori unveiled its new plant in Tsukuba, Japan, dedicated to the production
of 40- and 44-inch presses. Costing almost $68 million, the plant, which
covers more than 400,000 square feet, currently produces about 12 units a day or
about 3,000 a year. Komori can increase manufacturing by adding more shifts or
expanding the factory as needed.
