The largest printing and graphic arts exhibition in France, “Graphitec-Convertec 2009” was held for 4 days from June 9-12, 2009 at the Paris Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre Hall 4.
The largest printing and graphic arts exhibition in France, “Graphitec-Convertec 2009” was held for 4 days from June 9-12, 2009 at the Paris Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre Hall 4.
According to the event organizer’s announcement, the exhibition brought together 191 exhibitors and received 10,650 visitors. As for the visitors, 90% of the whole came from all over France (Paris region: 58% / other regions: 32%), and 10% were from overseas (Belgium, Germany, Northwest African countries, Switzerland, etc.).
Held every 3 years, this year marked the 12th edition of Graphitec-Convertec reconfirmed the importance of having a show in France, which gathers all the printing and graphic arts industries. In addition, the exhibitors provided constructive and practical solutions to the visitors to accomplish their plans/projects and thus allowed a number of business deals were concluded.
The theme of Komori France at Graphitec-Convertec 2009 was “KOMORI ENVIRONMENT”. This straightforward and trendy theme, which imagined “LITHRONE equals Green”, is an important theme showing our approach for the reduction of environmental burdens, such as non-alcohol, reducing waste paper and so on. During the exhibition, our salesmen gave detailed explanation concerning the theme to those who came by our booth.
At Komori booth covering 306 square meters, we exhibited the LITHRONE S29 which is 5-color 29-inch sheetfed offset press with coater (LS-529 + coater), and we conducted 5-6 live demos every day. We also set up three exhibit zones for Offset press, Chambon, and DoNet in the booth and many visitors came every day. In order to express our gratitude to the visitors, we provided the green reception floor imagined eco, which was 60cm higher than the floor level of the exhibition hall.

Through the demonstrations, we introduced the details of its superior performances including the latest technologies to meet various demands in the printing industry.
We really appreciated so many people visited our Komori booth during the exhibition.
The exhibition was held under a very severe economic situation, but as Ms. Catherine Ressuge, the Director of Komori France stated, “In a communication market affected by the crisis Grahpitec-Convertec 2009 showed that the printing sector is not at all moribund”, 182 companies visited our booth during the exhibition, and we were able to exceed our sales expectations. Thank you again to all of you.
