CIP4 Japan TGW(Technical Working Group) and BNG(Business Network Group) coordinated the CIP4/JDF Mini Interoperability Test Event in Tokyo from 7th through 9th December, 2009. It was held at the JAGAT (Japan Association of Graphic Arts Technology) meeting room. Mr. Rainer Prosi, a chairman of CIP4/IOT attended this meeting to answer the questions from Japanese working groups.
Around 30 Japanese people from 13 companies and 1 organization attended this test and meetings. Komori sent two engineers and one marketing people for this event.
Unique feature of this miniIOT was a special discussion for Future JDF with Mr. Prosi. Questions from Japanese working groups were already sent to him. We spent two days for this discussion. Mr. Prosi explained “Future JDF” on December 8th and discussion was made on 9th. Very productive discussion we had. This kind of discussion will continue at future IOT event to create more user-friendly and effective JDF. (Detailed information of this discussion is confidential.)
Mingle party was held on 8th, December at the lounge room of JAGAT. Chairman of JAGAT joined the party to give words of cheer for JDF in Japan. Express our thanks to JAGAT to support this event.
Next 18th Interop Event will be held at Newport News, Virginia, USA in March 22 through 26, 2010 and host will be Muller Martini.
