IPEX 2010 has started on May 18 and continues 8 days at NEC in Birmingham, UK. Total exhibit space is around 60,000 sqm and almost half of IPEX 2006 due to global economic deceleration and so forth.
In addition, many European airports were closed due to volcanic ash clouds. It created big messes such as delays, cancels and diverts for travelers tried to come to IPEX before open.
Opening day was a nice and fine day, and show opened without any problem at 10 am. Also the opening ceremony including “Champions in Print” award ceremony was held at 11:30 am with many people from this industry. However, due to traffic problems, number of entrant didn’t increase during the day. Second day was much more busy and full of sheets by guests at press demos at Komori booth.
There were not only many European entrants but also many entrants from China and India.
Komori booth has around 1,000 sqm size and following press models are exhibited for various demos.
